What It Is

Bodywork with a purpose — not a spa checklist.

This isn't a one-size-fits-all massage off a fixed menu. It's therapeutic bodywork aimed at the specific tension, tightness, and sore spots that are actually getting in your way — the knot between your shoulder blades, the low back that locks up, the calves that never let go.

Pressure and focus are matched to you and your day. Some sessions run deeper and more targeted; others are lighter and more about releasing overall tension. We start with where your body is and adjust as we go.

And because it's one flat rate for the time — not a price per technique — the work always follows your body. If stretching would help alongside the massage, we can blend the two in the same session.

What a session looks like

1

Quick check-in

We talk through where you're carrying tension, what's been bothering you, and what you want out of the session.

2

Tailored bodywork

I work with pressure and pace matched to you — deeper where it helps, lighter where it doesn't. Never a fixed script.

3

Focus on the problem spots

We spend the most time on the areas actually holding you back, adjusting to how your body responds.

4

Recover in the amenities

Wind down afterward in the sauna, steam room, and hot tub — included with every session.

Why People Come In

What therapeutic massage can do for you.

Everyone's reasons are a little different, but these are the ones I hear most from clients week to week.

01

Release built-up tension

Loosen the neck, shoulders, and back that tighten from stress, screens, and long days.

02

Target specific problem spots

Get real attention on the knot or sore area that won't quit — not a generic once-over.

03

Support faster recovery

Help your body bounce back between workouts, rounds of golf, hard training, or long days on your feet.

04

Ease everyday aches

Address the tightness that builds from sitting, driving, and repetitive motion before it settles in.

05

Stress relief that sticks

Downshift out of go-mode. Most people leave calmer, looser, and sleeping better.

06

Stay active and moving

Keep doing what you love with a body that feels maintained, not neglected.

Good to Know

Common questions.

What kind of massage do you do?

Therapeutic, tailored massage — not a fixed spa menu. Depending on what you need, that can range from deeper, targeted work on specific problem areas to lighter, full-body tension release. I match the pressure and focus to your body and your goals for the day.

How is this different from a spa massage?

The focus is on results and recovery, not a scripted routine or upsells. We spend time where your body actually needs it, it's one flat rate by time regardless of technique, and every session includes the sauna, steam room, and hot tub.

Do I need a gym membership to book?

No. Even though the studio is inside Hot Springs Health & Fitness, you don't need to be a member to book — and your session includes access to the sauna, steam room, and hot tub.

What should I expect on my first visit?

We'll start with a quick conversation about what's bothering you and what you're after, then get to work at a pace and pressure that feel right. Come in comfortable clothing — we'll take it from there. It's relaxed and unhurried, with no pressure to book anything else.

How long is a session and what does it cost?

Your first session is a full one-hour massage for $50 — half off the usual $100. After that, sessions are one flat rate of $100 per hour, priced by length rather than by technique, whether we do massage, stretching, or a blend of both.

Can I combine massage and assisted stretch in one session?

Yes — that's the whole idea behind one flat rate by time. If your body would get more out of blending massage and stretch work, we can do exactly that in the same session, with no change in price. Learn about assisted stretch →
